Donor Tribute

Date: Sunday July 29

Time: 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.

Location: Kirkhof Center at Grand Valley State University

Honoring the Gift: A Tribute to Living Donors and Donor Families, presented by Gift of Life Michigan, the Michigan Eye-Bank, the Michigan Donor Family Council and the Donate Life Coalition of Michigan.  Without donors, there are no transplants. This solemn but celebratory event will honor living donors and donor families. Transplant recipients also will be able to pay tribute those who gave life-saving, life-improving gifts.

Pinwheels: Each person at the Transplant Games in encouraged to decorate a pinwheel that will be displayed at the Donor Tribute. Pinwheel decorating will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Kirkhof Center at GVSU. Cookies and water will also be available starting at 3:00 p.m.
