The Transplant Games of America seeks to provide unique and diverse opportunities for ALL attendees of the Games. We ask that anyone planning on attending the Games complete registration. In addition to other details provided throughout the registration process, the registration form provides opportunities for individuals to purchase tickets and sign up for events with limited availability. REGISTRATION FAQs

  • How many competitions can I participate in per day?

    • Competitors have a limit of one individual event per day, plus they can compete in team events.

      • Important Note: Each competition has specific limitations on who can participate based on your division. To learn more, visit the competitions tab.

  • Can anyone run in the 5k?

    • Yes! Competitor and public participation is highly encouraged.

  • What are the registration costs?

    • * Registration is free for children 5 and under*

  • When is the last day to register for competitors?

    • The last day to register is June 5, 2024.

  • Important Note: This deadline is ONLY for competitors. Online registration is open for all non-competitors up until the Games. Non-competitors may also register on site at the Games. 

  • Do you need to submit a medical waiver even if you aren’t a recipient or donor but still plan to compete in the games?

    • No, division 3 competitors (donor family/living donor family) will only need to complete competitor registration. They do not need to submit a medial waiver.

  • Where can I find the medical waiver?

    • The medical at the top of this page listed under the registration link and guide. 

    • Upon completion of registration, a confirmation email will be sent. Included will be a link to the medical waiver.

      • Medical waivers can be submitted by one of two ways

        • Mailed to the Transplant Life Foundation

          • 1595 Galbraith Ave. SE, Suite 500, Grand Rapids, MI 49546

        • Faxed to Transplant Games of America at (616) 356-2522

  • When does the medical waiver need to be sent out/delivered for approval?

    • Medical waivers need to be mailed or faxed to the Transplant Life Foundation office no later than June 21, 2024.

  • If I am not planning on competing, do I still need to register?

    • Yes! Aside from the competitions, there are numerous other activities, programs, and events for attendees to sign up for. Some of these events have fees and limited tickets.

  • Is there someone I can contact if I have questions about registration?

    • For registration questions, visit the Contact Us page on our website or call Transplant Games of America at (616) 356 2331.

  • How soon after my transplant can I compete in the Games?

    • To compete in the 2024 Transplant Games of America, competitors must have received/donated their transplant prior to or on October 5, 2023. 

  • Can I register multiple people at once?

    • No, a separate registration form must be completed for each individual planning on attending the Games.
