As we celebrate the final day of the 2026 Transplant Games, our hearts are full of gratitude. Over the past week, we've witnessed incredible athletic achievements, heartfelt reunions, inspiring donor tributes, new friendships, and countless moments that remind us why this community is so extraordinary. Every event has been a celebration of resilience, hope, generosity, and the gift of life.
As you head home, we hope you take with you more than medals and memories. Take with you the stories you've shared, the friendships you've strengthened, and the renewed inspiration to continue being ambassadors for organ, eye, and tissue donation. Thank you for making these Games unforgettable. Safe travels, and we'll look forward to seeing you again at the 2028 Transplant Games in Saint Paul, MN. Until then, keep living boldly, sharing your story, and celebrating the gift of life every day.

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who helped make the 2026 Transplant Games such an incredible success. So many of our volunteers are members of the donation and transplant community themselves—recipients, living donors, donor families, caregivers, and supporters. Whether you volunteered between competitions or gave up time attending events, your willingness to serve made a lasting impact. These Games simply wouldn't be possible without you.
We also want to extend a very special thank you to everyone who stepped up to help with Track & Field yesterday. When we realized we were short on volunteers, a call for help went out to participants—and the response was overwhelming. So many of you answered the call, got up early, and came ready to help. Thanks to your generosity, the event ran smoothly and was a tremendous success. It was yet another reminder of what makes this community so extraordinary: when someone needs help, you show up. Thank you for making these Games unforgettable.
