Navigating Grief: Building Your Grief Toolbox
Organization: Iowa Donor Network
Speaker: Anna Wardenburg
Date, Time & Location: Monday, June 22, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the Colorado Convention Center Room 205
About: Grief is a natural response to loss, yet many of us are taught to minimize, avoid, or "get over" it. In this workshop, we'll explore what grief truly is and challenge the cultural messages that often silence or dismiss our experience. Together, we'll begin to accept the reality of death and loss, while learning healthy ways to process the pain that follows. Through guided reflection, open conversation, and hands-on activities, participants will begin building their own "Grief Toolbox" - a collection of practical tools and personalized supports to navigate grief with compassion and honesty. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, this workshop offers space to honor it and find connection in your healing journey.
