Event:
The 5K Walk/Run is an event for everyone. Transplant Recipients, Living Donors, Corneal, Tissue Recipients, Bone Marrow Recipients, Donor Families, Community, International Friends, and Public participation is encouraged and welcomed.
Entry Regulations:
1. You can register for this event when you register for the Transplant Games.
2. If you are planning on to participate in the 5k Run/Walk event only, you can register by using the following link: TBD
Format:
The event will be staged over a 5K road course. Events are Men's, Women's, and Youth Individual (by age group). There will also be a 2K walk, however, it will not be timed.
Medaling:
1. Medals are only awarded to first, second, and third to Division 1, Division 2 and Donor Family competitors by gender and age group.
2. The public are not awarded TGA medals, but they we will receive participation medals for completing the race.

Results:
Once an event is completed and results are available, 5K staff must record all competitors and times/scores to the appropriate system/documents. When electronic scoring is being utilized a manual backup system must be in place to record results.
When available, during the course of competition, sports directors may post results (identified as preliminary) for public and competitor review.
Upon conclusion of the day’s competition, sports directors must submit final results for each event. Manual documents must be signed and dated by the appropriate staff member. Results will be reviewed for accuracy and posted in the TGA Village.
